I came across this website and think these bears are really cute! Great gift idea for CHD babies in the hospital or as a gift under the tree! Here is a little information from their website and the link:Bubba’s Bears is our family project dedicated to giving “heart bears” to children in the hospital with Congenital Heart Defects. Alexander was born January 28, 2006 with Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and absent main pulmonary artery. Over the course of 6 weeks, 5 days Alexander had 2 major open heart surgeries, brain bleeds, lung and splenic bleeds, a heparin “incident”, ECMO, and sadly sepsis that took his life.
Alex showed us something that we continue to carry with us today. He has sparked our love for Random Acts of kindness...a motto we live by each day. Some people are born with special hearts, the rest of us have to work at it.
